We are independent writers, in our dreams aspiring to compete with Ryan Holiday and Simon Sinek, though this is our first time writing an article. We’re here to share our first-hand experiences as we settle into Kenya. We appreciate you stopping by and reading our blog!
Lets start with the WHY
You see what we did there? Simon Sinek and lets start with the why… Anyways lets beging 🙂
Our journey began after moving from a “first-world” country to a “third-world” country, as some Western countries perceive Africa. The differences between Europe and Africa were quite surprising but Kenya is definitely not what the media likes you to believe, in some areas Kenya definitely plays in the “first-world” league.
Our families back home often ask how we’re adjusting to life in Africa, and our answer is simply, “Every country has its good and bad.”
Discovering a blog like BlogKenya, filled with lived experiences, would have helped us make more informed decisions about many aspects of daily life. This realization sparked our interest in blogging, and we recognized the benefits it could bring. For us, blogging is a form of free therapy, and we hope it will help you plan your journey better.
What are we offering?
On BlogKenya, you will find our honest reviews and experiences on various topics, from nutrition to hotel stays, groceries to shopping malls, and much more. We are documenting our day-to-day lives in Kenya, promising honest and real reviews to help you make informed decisions.
