Hello everyone!
BlogKenya is brought to you by a young dynamic duo with marketing and private education background. We have decided to embark on an exciting journey with our two young children to relocate from London, the United Kingdom to a developing country.
Our journey began after moving from a “first-world” country to a “third-world” country, as some Western countries perceive Africa. The differences between Europe and Africa were quite surprising but Kenya is definitely not what the media likes you to believe, in some areas Kenya definitely plays in the “first-world” league.
Our families back home often ask how we’re adjusting to life in Africa, and our answer is simply, “Every country has its good and bad.”
Discovering a blog like BlogKenya, filled with lived experiences, would have helped us make more informed decisions about many aspects of daily life. This realization sparked our interest in blogging, and we recognized the benefits it could bring. For us, blogging is a form of free therapy, and we hope it will help you plan your journey better.
BlogKenya is a site that provides behind the scenes views of Kenya’s culture, life, events and food. It features and reviews restaurants, attractions, hotels, experiences, and events in Kenya. BlogKenya is convenient if you are settling or simply visiting Kenya.
During our relocation, we came across a lot of fake or misleading information or reviews, we want to be the opposite and only provide your with our infiltered and honest view of things.
